Tetra Tech is supporting the Aus4Skills program to help enhance Vietnam’s human resource capabilities to meet emerging opportunities and socio-economic development goals.
The Aus4Skills program comprises of two phases: spanning from December 2014 to the present, comprises two phases. Phase 1 (2016-2021) set a strong foundation, while Phase 2 (2021-2025) aims to further support Vietnam’s socioeconomic development by investing in professional, technical knowledge and competencies. It notably focuses on nurturing and expanding the bilateral ties between the two nations, with a keen emphasis on inclusivity and opportunities for underrepresented communities.
Phase 1: Establishing Foundations (2016-2021)
Aus4Skills Phase 1 laid the groundwork for deepening human resource development across various sectors in Vietnam, focusing on creating opportunities and enhancing capacities, particularly for marginalised groups.
Phase 2: Advancing Development and Cooperation (2021-2025)
Building on the success of the initial phase, Aus4Skills Phase 2 continues to support Vietnam’s growth through inclusive alumni contributions, organisational changes in key sectors and strengthened Australia-Vietnam links. The phase is characterised by its comprehensive component activities including Australia Awards Scholarships, alumni engagement and capacity building in higher education and vocational training, coupled with the promotion of industry linkages.
