The Pacific Humanitarian Warehousing Program (PHWP) is a Pacific-led initiative supported by multiple donors to enhance humanitarian warehousing capabilities in 14 Pacific island countries and Timor-Leste.
The program is designed to provide timely, climate-resilient, and fit-for-purpose warehousing solutions that address the needs of the most vulnerable populations, including women, children, and persons with disabilities.
Our role and impact
As the Infrastructure Specialist Unit (ISU) Contractor for the Department for Foreign Affairs and Trade, Tetra Tech collaborates with the Pacific Community to deliver PHWP. Our role encompasses the design and construction of up to 15 warehouses, adapting refurbishment and rental options to meet specific partner country needs. We also contribute to strengthening national and regional partnerships for preparedness, response, and recovery, and guide program implementation with an emphasis on locally led development, gender equality, disability and social inclusion and green humanitarian action.
