This initiative focuses on the sustainable development of the cattle industry, encouraging agricultural cooperation and boosting investment in the beef sector. Tetra Tech leads this effort by delivering advisory services aimed at achieving these strategic goals.

Our role and impact
Tetra Tech unites key stakeholders from both governments and the industry to forge a competitive edge in the cattle and beef supply chain across Indonesia and Australia. Our work includes facilitating bilateral engagement, designing high-quality activities and providing expert monitoring and evaluation support. Our approach is customised to meet both technical and political requirements to support the development of a more resilient cattle sector in Indonesia.
A cornerstone of the partnership is the Indonesia-Australia Commercial Cattle Breeding program. This flagship initiative collaborates with private sector entities and smallholder farmers to test and implement commercially viable breeding systems. The program has demonstrated substantial commercial success and attracted significant co-investment, showcasing the potential for scalable impact in the sector.
