Tetra Tech collaborates with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) to implement the Cambodia Aid Advisory Services (CAAS), a cornerstone of Australia’s development assistance in Cambodia.

CAAS serves as an instrumental bridge between the Australian Embassy in Phnom Penh and a broad spectrum of technical expertise. The program underscores Australia’s multifaceted development agenda, addressing critical areas such as health, infrastructure and social inclusion, thereby supporting Cambodia’s journey towards sustainable growth and equitable social progress.

Our role and impact

As the managing contractor, Tetra Tech plays a pivotal role in orchestrating the successful delivery of CAAS. Our responsibilities encompass the meticulous sourcing, engagement and management of both individual and organisational expertise to provide unparalleled advisory services to the Australian Embassy. From recruitment and mobilisation to the comprehensive administration of assignments, Tetra Tech ensures seamless operational support. By adhering to the rigorous standards of both Tetra Tech and DFAT, we facilitate the strategic deployment of advisory services, thereby amplifying the impact and efficiency of Australia’s developmental efforts in Cambodia.

CAAS stands as a testament to the dynamic and responsive approach to development assistance, significantly enhancing the capacity and effectiveness of the Australian Embassy’s operations in Cambodia. The initiative provides a vital conduit for specialised advisory services, enriching the Embassy’s ability to navigate complex policy dialogues, elevate program performance and foster strategic coherence across a wide array of development projects. By integrating expert insights in public financial management, economic governance, human rights and social inclusion, among others, CAAS instrumentalises a profound and lasting influence on Cambodia’s developmental trajectory, aligned with Australia’s vision for a prosperous and inclusive future.
