The Regional Trade for Development (RT4D) project, funded by Australia and New Zealand, encompasses the ASEAN-Australia-New Zealand FTA (AANZFTA) Implementation Support Program (AISP) and the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) Agreement Implementation Support Programme.

RT4D supports ASEAN’S commitment to the AANZFTA and RCEP. Through the project, Tetra Tech is assisting ASEAN economies in fulfilling their obligations and capitilising on the benefits of the enhanced agreements.

Our role and impact

Tetra Tech applies its wide-ranging technical expertise to the RT4D programme, with a special emphasis on Cambodia, Lao PDR and Vietnam, facilitated by Country Managers in these markets. Located at the ASEAN Secretariat, RT4D engages closely with key stakeholders, cultivating relationships and networking opportunities.

RT4D supports ASEAN’s commitment to the AANZFTA and RCEP, aiming to strengthen economic relations between ASEAN, Australia and New Zealand. This includes enhancing trade and investment, fostering regional economic integration, generating new business opportunities and encouraging sustainable development. A notable feature of the program is the Trade and Gender Equality Incubator, which aligns with the ASEAN Community Vision 2025’s goal for gender-responsive implementation.
